Sample Schedule
A typical day includes soft start, MBS (SEL), project/lab-based learning with each other and international counterparts, lunch/recess, learning seminar/discussion, global language learning, and independent reading/read aloud. The week is supplemented with guest speakers, Friday field trips/service projects, and individual teacher-student check-ins.

About the Founder
Melissa Feiger, PhD
Dr. Melissa Feiger is the founder and lead educator of Wander through Wonder Academy, with nine years of middle school science experience. She has co-created district science curriculum, co-led a Science Olympiad team, organized student trips, and coached intramural tennis. Dr. Feiger holds a Bachelor's in Elementary Education from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a Master's in ESL and Special Education from National-Louis University, and a PhD in Curriculum Studies from DePaul University, focusing on democracy in education. She is also an adjunct professor at Truman College.
