Uhuru Pathways program caters to high school students aged 14-18 who benefit from a more individualized learning environment, providing them with personalized support and resources to excel academically. For adult learners aged 18 and older, we offer the motivation and guidance needed to return and complete their high school education. Our approach ensures that every student is empowered to realize their educational aspirations and prepare for the future.

A Typical Day At Uhuru Pathways Learning Center
Each student enjoys a self-paced learning experience enriched by live coaching. Students engage in 5 hrs of daily learning following a 9th-12th grade curriculum that combines academic subjects with our unique Mind, Body, Soul curriculum. This holistic approach nurtures not only intellectual growth but also emotional and physical well-being. With personalized coaching integrated throughout the day, students receive the support they need to thrive academically and develop essential life skills.

Dr. Yazmene Thomas
Dr. Thomas, affectionately called Dr. Yaz, an accomplished educator with 24+ years of experience, is passionate about empowering adult learners. Her expertise in program development, mentorship, and leadership spans diverse settings, from community colleges to correctional facilities. A strong advocate for adult education, Dr. Yaz's current passion is opening an adult micro high school to further support this underserved population.
