At Legacy Builders Learning Center, we nurture the whole scholar—spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, and socially. Rooted in biblical principles, neuroscience, and holistic learning, our approach fosters self-directed learning, character development, and life skills for success in faith and life.
Through scripture-based teachings, SEL, and hands-on learning, we equip scholars with resilience, confidence, and purpose to make a lasting impact on the world.
Ages Currently Served
At Legacy Builders Learning Center, we currently serve ages 9-15 (upper elementary to middle school scholars 5-8) providing a faith-based, holistic education that nurtures academic excellence, character development, and leadership. Our curriculum is designed to support scholars during this critical stage of growth, equipping them with self-directed learning skills, emotional intelligence, and a strong moral foundation and values.
As we grow, we plan to expand our program ages served.
Our Curriculum
At Legacy Builders Learning Center, we integrate faith, neuroscience, and holistic education to nurture and embrace the mind, body, and soul approach. Through reflections on the 9 Fruits of the Spirit, scholars develop character, emotional intelligence, and spiritual grounding. Our curriculum blends STEM, writing, the arts, and hands-on learning with mindfulness and movement, fostering creativity, leadership, and life skills.
Daily Itinerary
Legacy Builders Learning Center operates Monday-Thursday, 8:30 AM-2:30 PM, with early drop-in and after-hours pick-up available. Each day begins with meditation and reflection, followed by core learning subjects: Mondays & Wednesdays focus on Science & Math, while Tuesdays & Thursdays emphasize Writing & Communication. Scholars enjoy movement breaks, social lunch, and character development sessions. Our itinerary balances faith, academics, and life skills for holistic growth.

About the Founder
Coach Alysha Powell, Founder
Alysha Powell is a passionate Educator and Certified Life Coach with nearly two decades of experience mentoring, coaching, and transforming education. Recognizing that true success requires mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being, she developed and piloted her program in public and charter schools. Inspired by its impact, she launched Legacy Builders Learning Center with a holistic, reflective, creative and faith-centric approach. As a wife, mom, entrepreneur, international speaker, and author, Alysha knows what it takes to win and she is dedicated to empowering young scholars to thrive.
